Celem tej pracy jest zaprezentowanie i omówienie problemu jakim jest tocząca się walka o prawa kobiet oraz rola protestów w tej walce. Autorka przedstawia historię feminizmu poprzez zaprezentowanie jego czterech fal, następnie omawia protesty i ich charakter w poszczególnych, wcześniej omówionych falach. Praca kończy się studium przypadku polskiego “Strajku Kobiet” oraz protestów które miały miejsce w roku 2020 po orzeczeniu polskiego Trybunału Konstytucyjnego.
The aim of this thesis is presenting and discussing the issue of the ongoing fight for women’s rights as well as the role of protest in that fight. The author is presenting the history of feminism by introducing its four waves, later discussing the protests and their nature in the specific waves described earlier. The thesis ends with a case study of Polish “Strajk Kobiet” and the protests which took place in 2020 after the restriction of abortion rigths by the Polish Constitutional Tribunal.
