Praca ta opisuje społeczeństwo Mongolii, w latach poprzedzających objęcie władzy przez komunistów (lata 1917-24). Pierwszy rozdział opisuje pokrótce warunki geograficzno-klimatyczne dzisiejszej Mongolii. Kolejne dwa rozdziały przedstawiają zarys historii Mongolii (rozdział II do roku 1917, a rozdział III w latach 1917-1924). Rozdział czwarty charakteryzuje religie Mongolii, zarówno jej dzieje jak i organizacje, oraz najważniejsze problemy społeczne z nią związane. Rozdział piąty zawiera informacje dotyczące organizacji gospodarki ze szczególnym naciskiem na hodowle. Porusza też problem zadłużenia społeczeństwa mongolskiego. Rozdział szósty i ostatni opisuje główne problemy społeczne w Mongolii oraz podstawy obyczajowości i dorobku kulturowego mieszkańców Mongolii w omawianym okresie.

This paper describes the society of Mongolia prior to the imposion of the communist regime (years 1917-1924).The first chapter, in short words, describes the geographical and climatical conditions of Mongolia. The next two chapters contain an outline of Mongolian history (chapter 2: prior to the year 1917; chapter 3: years 1917-1924). Chapter four describes the religion of Mongolia, it's history, organization and the most important social dificulties conected to this subject. Chapter five contains information on Mongolian economy, with the emphasis on animal husbandry. It also brings up the subject of Mongolian debts. The last, chapter describes main problems of the Mongolian society, their customs and cultural output.
