Homobiographical writing in the perspective of queer studies and literature in Czech Republic and Poland

Niniejsza praca jest próbą przybliżenia problematyki queerowych badań literatury w Polsce i Republice Czeskiej. Głównym celem jest ukazanie rozbieżnego podejścia do tematu pomiędzy oboma krajami. W tym celu porównane zostały dzieła czeskiego badacza Martina C. Putne oraz polskiego pisarza Krzysztofa Tomasika. Ta analiza kładzie znaczny nacisk na metodologię, strategię autorów oraz język używany przez nich w swoich dziełach.

This thesis is an attempt to present the issues of queer literature research in Poland and the Czech Republic. The main aim is to show the divergent approach to the subject between the two countries. For this purpose, the works of the czech researcher Martin C. Putna and the polish writer Krzysztof Tomasik were compared. This analysis places considerable emphasis on the methodology, strategy of the authors, and the language they use in their works.
