The impact of the collapse of Lehman Brothers on the 2008 global financial crisis.

W niniejszej pracy dokonano przeglądu literatury dotyczącej źródeł powstawania kryzysów, skupiając się zwłaszcza na analizie przyczyn kryzysu finansowego 2008 roku, za którego początek uznawane jest bankructwo amerykańskiego banku Lehman Brothers. Skutki kryzysu, który wybuchł po tym wydarzeniu, okazały się pod wieloma względami tragiczne. Autorka analizuje przyczyny jego wybuchu oraz przygląda się skutkom kryzysu stosując ujęcie narracyjne. Praca stara się także wskazać przykład efektywnego przeciwdziałania kryzysowi oraz pracy ze skutkami kryzysu finansowego.

This work reviews the literature and the origins of crises. The study of the causes of financial crises, especially the causes of the financial crisis of 2008. In this way, the cause of the financial crisis was the bankruptcy of the US bank Lehman Brothers. Nevertheless, the conclusions of the cause-effect analysis are narrative in nature. In fact, in many respects the effects of the financial crisis have been tragic. Also, the work shows an example of effective crisis prevention and working with the effects of the financial crisis.
