Adaptation strategy under the conditions of the Covid-19 epidemic on the example of the volleyball club ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle

Poniższa praca „Strategia adaptacji w warunkach epidemii Covid 19 na przykładzie klubu siatkarskiego ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle” przedstawia proces adaptacji organizacji do narzuconych zmian w środowisku, spowodowanych wybuchem pandemii koronawirusa. W celu zgłębienia tematyki adaptacji, dokonano wnikliwej analizy literatury naukowej, a także branży sektora sportowego i zachowania gospodarki w sytuacjach kryzysowych. Wybuch pandemii COVID-19 w 2019 roku w Chinach miał znaczący wpływ na kondycję finansową przedsiębiorstw, jak i również na dotychczasowe cechy organizacyjne klubów sportowych. W niniejszej pracy dokonano próby oceny wpływu pandemii na funkcjonowanie klubu siatkarskiego Zaksa Kędzierzyn-Koźle. Dzięki obserwacji, dokładnej analizie raportów finansowych oraz przeprowadzeniu ankiety wśród potencjalnej grupy osób interesujących się działalnością klubu, możliwa była identyfikacja ewentualnych problemów, jakie napotkały klub siatkarski w trakcie trwania pandemii. W ramach przeprowadzonych badań, udowodniono, że organizacja sportowa nie odczuła powstałego kryzysu w sposób zagrażający działalności. Co więcej, okres po wybuchu pandemii przyniósł organizacji nadzwyczajne zyski, a także zwiększenie popularności w kraju.

The following paper "Adaptation strategy under the conditions of the Covid 19 epidemic on the example of the ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle volleyball club" presents the process of adaptation of the organization to the imposed changes in the environment caused by the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic. In order to explore the topic of adaptation, a thorough analysis of the scientific literature was made, as well as the sports sector industry and the behavior of the economy in crisis situations. The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2019 in China has had a significant impact on the financial health of enterprises, as well as on the existing organizational characteristics of sports clubs. This paper attempts to assess the impact of the pandemic on the operation of the Zaksa Kędzierzyn-Koźle volleyball club. Through observation, a thorough analysis of financial reports and a survey of a potential group of people interested in the club's operations, it was possible to identify possible problems encountered by the volleyball club during the pandemic. Within the framework of the research conducted, it was proven that the sports organization did not feel the resulting crisis in a way that threatened its operations. Moreover, the period after the outbreak of the pandemic brought the organization extraordinary profits, as well as an increase in popularity in the country.
