Praca przedstawia dyskurs audycji Jana Nowaka-Jeziorańskiego, dyrektora Radia Wolna Europa w latach 1952-1973. Poszczególne rozdziały dotyczą kolejno stylu wypowiedzi Jana Nowaka, celu i budowy audycji radiowych oraz retoryki tekstów. Oprócz warstwy językowej uwaga zwrócona jest także na tradycje dyskursu patriotycznego, jaką można zauważyć w tekstach Jana Nowaka oraz wartości, o jakich dyrektor Rozgłośni Polskiej mówił na łamach radia.
The paper presents the discourse of Jan Nowak Jeziorański's broadcasts, who was the director of Radio Free Europe in the years 1952-1973. Each of the chapters covers successively the style of Jan Nowak, purpose and construction of radio programs and rhetoric texts. Apart form that, there are also a few words concerning the traditions of the patriotic discourse that can be seen in the texts of Jan Nowak and the values which the director presented in the pages of broadcast radio.
