Praca licencjacka poświęcona jest referendum jako instytucji służącej do aktywizowania elektoratu przez polityków. W ramach tego problemu badawczego stawiana jest hipoteza, że proces przeprowadzenia referendum wpływa na wzrost poparcia dla inicjującego go polityka lub ugrupowania. W celu zweryfikowania przypuszczeń zostały przybliżone zagadnienia teoretyczne związane z formami demokracji bezpośredniej oraz umiejscowienia tej instytucji w prawie polskim. Została również przedstawiona historia polskich referendów. W części badawczej przeanalizowane zostały, za pomocą jakościowej analizy danych, referendum z dnia 6 września 2015 roku oraz z dnia 15 października 2023 roku.
The bachelor thesis is devoted to the referendum as an institution used to activate the electorate by politicians. Within the scope of this research problem, it is hypothesized that the process of holding the referendum affects the increase of support for the politician or group that initiated it. In order to verify the assumptions, theoretical questions related to the forms of direct democracy and the placement of this institution in Polish law were presented. The history of Polish referendums was also presented. In the research part, the referendums of September 6, 2015 and October 15, 2023 were analyzed using qualitative data analysis.
