Praca została poświęcona zagadnieniu znieczulenia podpajęczynówkowegostosowanego do zabiegów chirurgicznych. W pracy przedstawiono podstawy anatomiczneoraz techniki wykonania znieczulenia podpajęczynówkowego i ogólne skutki wpływuznieczulenia na poszczególne układy. Następnie omówiono wskazania i przeciwwskazaniado wykonania znieczulenia oraz powikłania do jakich może dojść podczas wykonywaniaznieczulenia i stosowane środki znieczulenia miejscowego wykorzystywane do znieczuleniapodpajęczynówkowego. Ostatnie rozdziały opisują rolę pielęgniarki anestezjologicznejod momentu przyjęcia pacjenta pod opiekę, aż do momentu przekazania go w oddział orazwyposażenie sali operacyjnej i zadania pielęgniarki anestezjologicznej w przygotowaniustanowiska do znieczulenia podpajęczynówkowego.Głównym założeniem pracy było przedstawienie zagadnień teoretycznychi praktycznych umiejętności związanych z pracą pielęgniarki anestezjologicznej.

The work is devoted to the question of local anaesthesia which is commonly usedto perform surgeries. This work presents the essentials of anatomy and some techniqesof using this metod of spinal anaesthesia, including the indications and contraindicationsof choosing this type of epidural and possible complications connected with it. Futhermore,it describes the medicines which are widely used nowadays. Finally, there is a descriptionof the role of a special anaesthesia nurse while she is taking care of a patient sincethe moment of being admitted to the operating theatre until they are taken to the intensive careunit or surgical ward. There is also some information according to the equipmentof the operating theatre and the duties of a nurse who is appointed to prepare the work stationbefore the whole procedure of anaesthetic starts.The main aim of the work was to present the theoretical knowledge and the practicalskills required to make a perfect anaesthetic nurse and connected with their work.
