The bachelor thesis foucuses on zionist author Theodor Herzl and his book ''The Jewish State. Proposal of a modern solution for the Jewish question''. . The thesis presents thoughts of one of the most important Zionist thinker of the XIX century. The thesis tries to prove that the establishment of an independent state of Israel would not be possible without zionist thoughts. The first chapter disscuses the biography of Theodor Herzl and brings an introduction to the situation of the Jewish community over the centuries. In the second chapter the author analyzes the theoretical considerations of T. Herzl for an independent state. The last chapter foucuses on the creation of the state and impact of Herzl for an independent state.
