Prokop the Great and His Influence on the Hussite Movment

Praca „Prokop Wielki i jego wpływ na ruch husycki.”. Problemem badawczym pracy jest przedstawienie postaci Prokopa Wielkiego, próba zbadania czynników, które wpłynęły na jego ukształtowanie. Przedstawia również, jego wpływ na ruch husycki w początkowych latach rewolucji 1419-1425, oraz w czasach jego przywództwa w latach 1426-1434. W pracy zawarta jest historia i geneza ruchu husyckiego, wybuch i przebieg rewolucji husyckiej. Przedstawiono też wpływ działań Prokopa na późniejszy okres historii Królestwa Czeskiego, po 1434 roku. W pracy wykorzystano źródła zarówno z epoki jak i późniejsze takie jak Kroniki Jana Długosza, Stare Latopisy Czeskie i Kronika Czeska Vaclava Hajka z Libocan. W pracy korzystano też z publikacji zajmującej się wojskowością, religijnością i polityka ruchu husyckiego.

Master's Thesis: "Prokop the Great and His Influence on the Hussite Movement." The research problem of the thesis is to present the figure of Prokop the Great and to examine the factors that shaped him. It also discusses his influence on the Hussite movement during the early years of the revolution (1419-1425) and his leadership period (1426-1434). The thesis includes the history and origins of the Hussite movement, the outbreak, and the course of the Hussite revolution. The thesis also presents the impact of Prokop's actions on the later period of the history of the Kingdom of Bohemia after 1434. The thesis utilizes both contemporary and later sources such as the Chronicles of Jan Długosz, the Old Czech Annals, and the Czech Chronicle of Vaclav Hajek of Libocan. Additionally, the thesis draws from publications dealing with the military, religious, and political aspects of the Hussite movement.
