Karaite - the smallest ethnic minority in Poland

Praca dotyczy mniejszości narodowych i etnicznych. Pierwszy rozdział nawiązuje do polityki językowej oraz praw jakie tym mniejszościom przysługują. Druga część skupia się na wynikach ankiety, która została skierowana do Polaków i miała na celu sprawdzenie ich wiedzy na temat obcokrajowców, emigrantów oraz członków mniejszości. Następny rozdział opisuje historię, kulturę, religię, tradycje i zwyczaje Karaimów. Rozdział czwarty przedstawia wyniki ankiet, które wysłałam Karaimom mieszkającym w Polsce. Na końcu pracy są wnioski, które nasunęły się podczas i po napisaniu pracy.

The master's thesis concerns national and ethnic minorities. The first chapter refers to language policy and the rights that these minorities have. The second part focuses on the results of the survey, which was addressed to Polish people and was aimed at checking they knowledge about foreigners, emigrants and minority members. The next chapter describes the history, culture, religion, traditions and customs of the Karaites. Chapter four presents the results of surveys that I sent to Karaites living in Poland. At the end of the thesis there are conclusions that arose during and after writing the thesis.
