Health problems of a patient with Wegener's granulomatosis and tuberculosis

Gruźlica jest chorobą zakaźną, którą wywołuje prątek gruźlicy (Mycobacterium tuberculosis). Zakażenie następuje drogą wziewną. źródłem jest najczęściej chory, prątkujący człowiek, który wydala (podczas oddychania. kaszlu, mówienia, śmiechu) wraz z wydalanym powietrzem i wydzieliną prątki gruźlicy. Ryzyko zakażenia zależy głownie od czasu narażenia na kontakt z czynnikiem chorobotwórczym oraz stężenia prątków w powietrzu oddechowym. Gruźlica może dotyczyć różnych narządów (nerki, węzły chłonne, stawy, kości) najczęstszą jednak postacią, która (w Polsce stanowi ponad 90 % przypadków) jest gruźlica płuc. Rozpoznanie choroby opiera się na wynikach badań bakteriologicznego plwociny, popłuczyn oskrzelowych lub popłuczyn żołądkowych u osób nie odkrztuszających plwociny [1].Praca ma charakter badawczy - studium przypadku, powstała w oparciu o indywidualną dokumentację historii choroby i ocenę stanu bio-psycho-społecznego. Celem pracy jest przedstawienie problemów zdrowotnych aktualnych i potencjalnych chorego z ziarniniakiem Wegenera i gruźlicą płuc oraz opracowanie planu interwencji pielęgniarskich. Problemy zdrowotne, które występowały u tego chorego zostały rozpoznane na podstawie oceny stanu fizycznego i psychicznego oraz zagadnień natury społecznej związanej z epidemiologią, objawami chorobowymi oraz leczeniem choroby a także hospitalizacją. Tuberculosis i san infectious disease caused by a tubercule bacillus (Mycobacterium tuberculosis). Transmission occurs via aerosol droplets that are inhaled. The source is usually a sick person with exhaled air and mucus tubercle bacilli. The risk of infection depends mostly on the time of contact with the infectious agent and on the concentration of bacilli in the exhaled air. Tuberculosis may involve many organs (kidneys, lymph nodes, joints, bones) however, the most common form (which in Poland comprises 90% of cases) is pulmonary tuberculosis. Diagnosis of the disease is lavage or with gastric lavage in those who do not cough up sputum.This paper is of a scientific character – it is a case study, and it was created based on an individual documentation of the patient history and analysis of the bio-psycho-social state.The aim of the study is identifying the current and potential health problems in a patient with Wegener’s granulomatosis and pulmonary tuberculosis and preparing a plan of nurse interventions. Health problems that occurred in this patient were recognized based on the analysis of the physical and psychological state and issues of the sociological nature connected with epidemiology, disease symptoms and treatment as well as hospitalization.
