Portraits of women functionning as narrators and protagonists in pseudo diaries: ,,The Fortunes and misfortunes of the famous Moll Flanders by Daniel Defoe and ,, Franciszka Krasińska's Diary'' by Klementyna z Tańskich Hoffmanowa

The present thesis describes the portraits of Moll Flanders and Franciszka Krasinska – the autors of pseudo – diaries and the elements of their auto-creation. The thesis consists of three chapters. The first one presents brief information about the authors of pseudo-diaries and explains the definition of a diary. The second chapter makes an attempt to present and compare the portraits of both characters, Moll Flanders and Franciszka Krasinska. The third chapter presents the situation of women in the 18th - century England and 19th - century Poland and the comparison of both women with the heroines of the analyzed texts.

Niniejsza praca ukazuje nam portret Moll Flanders i Franciszki Krasińskiej- narratorek pseudo-pamiętników oraz elementy ich autokreacji.Praca składa się z trzech rozdziałów.Rozdział pierwszy zawiera krótką informację o autorach pseudo-pamiętników, oraz wyjaśnia nam definicję pamiętników.Obszerność rozdziału drugiego wiąże się z próbą przedstawienia portretu obu bohaterek: Moll Flanders i Franciszki Krasińskiej, jak również ich porównaniu.Tematem trzeciego rozdziału jest ukazanie sytuacji kobiet w XVIII wiecznej Anglii oraz XIX Polsce, a także zestawienie danych na temat owych kobiet z bohaterkami utworów wybranych do analizy.
