Religiosity, the development of moral reasoning and sense of life satisfaction of young and elder adults

Głównym celem prezentowanych badań było określenie różnic w poziomie religijności, rozwoju moralnego i satysfakcji z życia w okresie wczesnej i późnej dorosłości. Ponadto interesowały mnie zależności między religijnością, rozwojem rozumowania moralnego i satysfakcją z życia. W prowadzonych analizach uwzględniłam również dane demograficzne jak: płeć, wykształcenie i miejsce zamieszkania. Uzyskane wyniki wykazały pozytywną korelację między religijnością a rozwojem rozumowania moralnego oraz ujemną zależność między poczuciem dobrostanu psychicznego a religijnością. Przeprowadzone analizy statystyczne wskazały na istnienie różnic w poziomie rozwoju moralnego i religijności między osobami młodymi i będącymi w okresie późnej dorosłości, a także na różnice w poczuciu dobrostanu psychicznego między kobietami i mężczyznami. Dodatkowo stwierdzono występowanie różnic w poziomie religijności w zależności od miejsca zamieszkania oraz różnice w rozwoju rozumowania moralnego ze względu na posiadane wykształcenie.

The main aim of the research was to determine the differences in the level of religiosity, moral development and life satisfaction during early and late adulthood. In addition, I was interested in the relationship between religiosity, moral development, and satisfaction with life. also take into account the analysis of demographic data: gender, education and place of residence. The results showed a positive correlation between religiosity and the development of moral reasoning and the negative correlation between psychological well-being and sense of religiosity. Statistical analysis indicated the existence of differences in the level of moral development and religiosity among young people and being in late adulthood, as well as differences in the sense of psychological well-being between men and women. the occurrence of differences in the level of religiosity depending on the place of residence and differences in the development of moral reasoning due to its education.
