Buckwheat herb as a potential cosmetic ingredient with antioxidant activity.

Zjawisko starzenia się organizmu to proces fizjologiczny, którego pierwsze efekty najszybciej uwidaczniają się na skórze twarzy człowieka. Za starzenie się skóry odpowiada udział dwóch postępujących równolegle procesów: starzenia wewnątrzpochodnego i zewnątrzpochodnego. Chcąc zmniejszyć efekty zjawiska starzenia się skóry i w miarę opóźnić jego postępowanie, prowadzonych jest wiele badań szukających złotego środka o silnych właściwościach antyutleniających.Celem pracy było zbadanie aktywności antyoksydacyjnej ziela gryki, całkowitej zawartości polifenoli w tym surowcu. Przygotowano kremy olej w wodzie i woda w oleju z wyciągami wodnymi i etanolowymi z ziela gryki, wykorzystując gotową bazę farmaceutyczną Hascobazę. Zbadano stabilność wykonanych kremów, w różnych warunkach przechowywania oraz zbadano wpływ tych warunków na rozsmarowywalność sporządzonych preparatów. Oznaczono ich pH i zbadano wpływ emulsji na stopień nawilżenia. Poproszono 25 osób do wzięcia udziału w badaniu i wypełnienia ankiety dotyczącej oceny profilu rozsmarowywalności Praca zawiera opis wykonywanych badań, ich zestawienie w tabelach i na wykresach oraz analizę.

The phenomenon of aging is a physiological process, which first results become apparent the most quickly on the face of human. For the skin aging complies two progressive, parallel processes – an endogenous and exogenous. To reduce the effects of skin aging and delay its progress, there are conducted a lot of research looking for the golden mean with strong antioxidant properties. The aim of the study was to investigate the antioxidant activity of buckwheat herb, total polyphenol content in this raw material. There were prepared creams: oil in water and water in oil with water and ethanol extracts of the herb buckwheat by using a ready base of pharmaceutical Hascobase. The next step was to examine the stability of creams made in different storage conditions and the influence of these conditions on the spreadability of the prepared preparations. The pH of these creams was marked and also influence of the emulsion on the level of hydration was examined. The 25 people were asked to fill the survey about the assessment of spreadability profile of the creams. The thesis includes a description of the tests performed, the summary tables and graphs of these tests and their analysis.
