Niniejsza praca licencjacka analizuje strukturę powieści Żaluzja (1957) Alaina Robbe-Grilleta oraz jej wpływ na odbiór lektury. Napisana zgodnie z konwencjami Nouveau Roman, powieść charakteryzuje się wyższością formy nad fabułą. Została ona skonstruowana w taki sposób, że jej znaczenie można dostrzec jedynie poprzez zapoznanie się z elementami jej struktury.Pierwszy rozdział przedstawia Nouveau Roman oraz teoretyczne i literackie postulaty tego ruchu. Drugi rozdział analizuje strukturę Żaluzji i jej komponenty: brak chronologii, powtórzenia oraz narrację. Trzeci rozdział omawia proces czytania i rolę czytelnika w interpretacji.

My bachelor’s thesis analyses the structure of the novel La Jalousie (Jealousy) (1957) by Alain Robbe-Grillet and its impact on the reading experience. Written in accordance with Nouveau Roman conventions, the novel is characterised by the superiority of form over plot. It has been constructed in such a way that its meaning can only be perceived by familiarising oneself with the elements of its structure.The first chapter introduces Nouveau Roman and the theoretical and literary postulates of this movement. The second chapter analyses the structure of La Jalousie (Jealousy) and its components: lack of chronology, repetition and narrative. The third chapter discusses the reading process and the role of the reader in interpretation.

Le présent mémoire analyse la structure de La Jalousie (1957) d’Alain Robbe-Grillet et son influence sur la lecture du roman. Celui-ci, écrit selon les principes du Nouveau Roman, se caractérise par la suprématie de la forme sur l’intrigue. Le roman est conçu de telle sorte que le sens ne se dégage que lorsque le lecteur se familiarise avec les éléments de sa structure.Le premier chapitre présente le Nouveau Roman et ses postulats théoriques et littéraires. Le deuxième examine la structure de La Jalousie et ses composantes : l'absence de chronologie, les répétitions et la narration. Le troisième analyse le processus de lecture et le rôle du lecteur dans l'interprétation.
