Folklore motifs in the early works of Nikolai Gogol (Evenings on a farm near Dikanka, Mirgorod)

Celem pracy jest pokazanie ludowości i folkloru we wczesnej twórczości Mikołaja Gogola. Jako literatura źródłowa posłużyły utwory z tomów "Wieczory na futorze koło Dikańki" i "Mirgorod". W pracy skupiono się na takich zagadnieniach jak: folklor, ludowość, demonologia, a także kultura, wierzenia i zwyczaje ludności zamieszkującej na terenach ukraińskich w XIX wieku.

The aim of the work is to show the folklore in the early works of Nikolai Gogol. Works from the volumes "Evenings on a farm near Dikanka" and "Mirgorod" were used as source literature. The work focuses on such issues as folklore and demonology, culture, beliefs and customs of the population living on the Ukrainian territories in the XIX century.
