Celem niniejszej pracy jest przedstawienie historii powstania, działalności i oferty Wydawnictwa Dwie Siostry. Praca została podzielona na trzy główne rozdziały. Pierwszy z nich jest kontekstem dla powstania wydawnictwa – przybliża dzieje rynku książki dziecięcej w Polsce w XX i XXI wieku oraz termin wydawnictwa lilipuciego, którym były początkowo Dwie Siostry.Drugi rozdział dotyczy ściśle samego wydawnictwa, czyli jego powstania, profilu wydawniczego oraz osiągnięć, jakie zdobyło w trakcie swojej działalności. Rozdział trzeci traktuje o ofercie wydawniczej i jest próbą jej charakterystyki – autorka wyszczególnia książki publikowane w seriach i poza nimi, ich najważniejsze cechy oraz różnice i podobieństwa w obrębie całego dorobku oficyny.

The main goal of the thesis is the presentation of origin, activity and the offer of Dwie Siostry publishing house.
