Celem pracy jest przedstawienie Lwowa jako ośrodka turystycznego o znaczeniu międzynarodowym. Na tle historii miasta zaprezentowano jego bogate walory kulturowe, wynikające często ze zróżnicowania narodowościowego i religijnego mieszkańców. Przedstawiono również najważniejsze problemy w rozwoju turystyki w mieście, zwłaszcza trudności finansowe i komunikacyjne. Z kolei wśród czynników sprzyjających turystyce podkreślono dobrą promocję miasta oraz stosunek mieszkańców do turystów.
The purpose of the study was to present Lviv as a tourist resort of international importance. Against the background of the history of the city presented its rich cultural values , often resulting from the diversity of ethnic and religious population. It also presents the most important problems in the development of tourism in the city , especially financial difficulties and communication. On the other hand, among the factors that contribute to the promotion of tourism highlighted the good of the city and the ratio of locals to tourists .
