Threats to modern sports and, in particular, to the current rules of fair play

Praca składa się z czterech rozdziałów.W pierwszym rozdziale przedstawiłam definicje sportu, rozwój dyscyplin sportowych oraz zasady współczesnej rywalizacji, bazując na średniowiecznym kodeksie rycerskim i Światowym Kodeksie Antydopingowym.Drugi rozdział dotyczy historii i rozwoju zasad fair play, współczesnych zasad fair play oraz organizacji promujących fair play i zwalczających doping i korupcję.W trzecim rozdziale omówiłam zagrożenia współczesnego sportu, takie jak korupcja, agresja, doping i komercjalizacja, oraz wpływ dominacji najbogatszych organizacji i klubów sportowych, ilustrując to przykładami sportowców.Czwarty rozdział zawiera wyniki moich badań opartych na ankiecie z udziałem 91 osób, wywiadzie eksperckich i analizie dokumentów. Na końcu zaprezentowałam wyniki i wnioski.

The work consists of four chapters.In the first chapter, I presented definitions of sports, the development of sports disciplines and the principles of modern competition, based on the medieval code of chivalry and the World Anti-Doping Code.The second chapter deals with the history and development of fair play, modern fair play, and organizations that promote fair play and combat doping and corruption.In the third chapter, I discuss the dangers of modern sports, such as corruption, aggression, doping and commercialization, and the impact of the domination of the richest sports organizations and clubs, illustrating this with examples of athletes.The fourth chapter contains the results of my research based on a survey with 91 people, an expert interview and document analysis. At the end I presented the results and conclusions.
