W ramach mojej pracy licencjackiej podejmuję się szczegółowej analizy noweli zatytułowanej « Karmazynowa zasłona » ze zbioru « Les Diaboliques » opublikowanego przez Barbey d'Aurevilly w 1882 roku. W pierwszej kolejności analizuję strukturę narratologiczną tego opowiadania, następnie przedstawiam fizyczny i psychologiczny portret Albertyny, a także dynamikę jej relacji z wicehrabią de Brassard. Analiza ta pozwala odpowiedzieć na pytanie, czy bohaterkę można uznać za wcielenie femme fatale.

As part of my bachelor's thesis, I am undertaking an in-depth study of the novel « The Crimson Curtain » from the collection « The She-Devils » written by Barbey d'Aurevilly in 1882. First, I am analyzing the narratological structure of this story, then I am examining the physical and psychological portrait of Albertine, as well as her relationship with the Viscount de Brassard. This analysis is leading me to answer the question of whether the protagonist can be considered an embodiment of the femme fatale.

Dans le cadre de mon mémoire de licence, j'entreprends une étude approfondie de la nouvelle « Le Rideau Cramoisi » du recueil « Les Diaboliques » publié par Barbey d'Aurevilly en 1882. Tout d'abord, j'analyse la structure narratologique de cette nouvelle, ensuite j'examine le portrait physique et psychologique d'Albertine, ainsi que sa relation avec le Vicomte de Brassard. Cette analyse me conduit à répondre à la question de savoir si la protagoniste peut être considérée comme une incarnation de la femme fatale.
