Praca licencjacka skupia się na przedstawieniu jednego z zagadnień algebry liniowej - k-norm Ky Fana. Zdefiniowane są one jako sumy k największych wartości singularnych macierzy. Omówione zostały również własności rozkładu według wartości singularnych oraz pewna nierówność dla wartości singularnych, która stosowana jest przy aproksymacji macierzy. Ostatnia część pracy poświęcona jest p-k normom Ky Fana, które są pewnym uogólnieniem k-norm.
The Bachelor’s thesis focuses on presenting one of the problems of linear algebra - the Ky Fan k-norms. They are defined as sums of the k largest singular values of matrix. The properties of singular value decomposition are included in paper as well as interesting singular value inequality used in approximation of matrices. The last part of this thesis is dedicated to the Ky Fan p-k norms, which generalize k-norms.
