Celem tej pracy jest stworzenie kompleksowego obrazu miejsca, które pełni istotną rolę dla społeczności, skupionej wokół tańców swingowych oraz zmian, jakie w niej zaszły pod wpływem pandemii COVID-19. Miejscem tym jest obóz taneczny Herräng Dance Camp, zlokalizowany w niewielkiej szwedzkiej miejscowości Herräng, nad Morzem Bałtyckim. Przy pomocy kategorii antropologicznych autorka analizuje swój udział w wydarzeniu w 2019 roku, podczas którego prowadziła badania etnograficzne.
This thesis aims to create a comprehensive picture of a place that plays an important role in a community created around swing dances and the changes it has undergone due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This place is the Herräng Dance Camp, located in the small Swedish town of Herräng, on the Baltic Sea. Using anthropological categories, the author analyses her participation in the event in 2019, during which she conducted ethnographic research.
