Niniejsza praca dotyczy Twierdzy Przemyśl, jej rozbudowy w XIX oraz na początku XX wieku, udziału w walkach na froncie wschodnim I wojny światowej podczas trzech oblężeń, a także ukazania życia mieszkańców w oblężonym mieście. Głównym celem pracy było przedstawienie znaczenia tej twierdzy zarówno z militarnego, jak i społecznego punktu widzenia.
The work is dedicated to the Fortress of Przemyśl, focusing on its expansion in the 19th and early 20th centuries, its involvement in the battles on the Eastern Front during World War I, particularly through three sieges, and the depiction of civilian life in the besieged city. The objective of the study was to highlight the significance of the fortress from both a military and social perspective.
