The nuclear program in foreign policy led by Mahmud Ahmadinejad

The present publication is an attempt to analyze the activities of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the international arena and also international community's responses to these actions in the context of nuclear policy, which is run by the Iranian authorities. In addition, the work also presents the trends that can be seen in Iranian politics. The author tries to answer the question: whether the radicalism of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad became the main reason for the continuation of intensive nuclear program in the Islamic Republic of Iran. An alternative perspective on the problem of Iran's nuclear programming code, and aggressive foreign policy led by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad certainly possible to explain the impact of Shi'ism and nationalism on iranian policy . The paper contains an analysis of selected speeches of President of Iran, and response of international society to the policy of nuclear blackmail led by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Celem pracy jest analiza działań oraz zachowań Islamskiej Republiki Iranu na arenie międzynarodowej, a także reakcje społeczności międzynarodowej na te posunięcia w kontekście polityki nuklearnej, jaka jest prowadzona przez władze Iranu. Ponadto w pracy poruszane są także tendencje, które można zaobserwować w irańskiej polityce. Autorka stara się odpowiedzieć na pytanie czy radykalizm Mahmuda Ahmadinedżada stał się główną przyczyną dla intensywnej kontynuacji programu atomowego w Islamskiej Republice Iranu. Czy może to irański nacjonalizm stał się bodźcem do prowadzenia badań, które mają doprowadzić Iran do atomu? Alternatywne spojrzenie na problem programu atomowego Iranu, jak i agresywnej polityki zagranicznej prowadzonej przez Mahmuda Ahmadinedżada umożliwiło niewątpliwie wyjaśnienie wpływu szyizmu na politykę, a także rozważenie zagadnienia irańskiego nacjonalizmu. Praca zawiera analizę wybranych wypowiedzi prezydenta Iranu, a także reakcji społeczeństwa międzynarodowego na politykę szantażu nuklearnego prowadzoną przez Mahmuda Ahmadinedżada.
