Celem pracy jest analiza problemu granic wolności w filozofii świętego Augustyna z Hippony. Na wstępie zostanie przybliżony dorobek i żywot myśliciela z Tagasty. Pierwszy rozdział stanowi omówienie natury ludzkiej duszy oraz pojęcia woli, wolnej woli i wolności. Drugi rozdział będzie poświęcony rozważaniom na temat relacji Boga i człowieka oraz wpływowi tej więzi na ludzką wolność. W tej części zostanie także podjęta refleksja nad wpływem rozumności na autonomię. W ostatnim trzecim rozdziale zaprezentowano moralny i społeczny aspekt wolności.
The aim of this master thesis is to analyze the problem of the limits of freedom in the Saint Augustine of Hippo philosophy. At the beginning, I would like to exemplify the achievements and life of the Augustine. The first chapter discusses the nature of the human soul and the concept of will, free will and freedom. The second chapter will be devoted to reflections on the relationship between God and man and the influence of this relationship on human freedom. This part will also reflect on the impact of reason on autonomy. The last third chapter presents the moral and social aspect of freedom.
