Angel in the Muslim mysticism

The purpose of this paper is to present the image and role of angel in Muslim mysticism. In the history of philosophy - mystical ideas in Islam, it occupies a very important place. The Koran does not say too much about angels. Sufi are developing a concept of this celestial being in a significant and very colorful way. At the beginning of the definitional issues are discussed, along with an attempt to identify the origin of the idea of an angel. Was presented the image of an angel which appears in the Koran and the later tradition. Also raised the issue Ibilis fallen angel. In later raised the question of the definition of mysticism, an outline of the history and typology of relevant work. The author discusses Mulism mysticism in relation to the philosophy and ismailism, with which it is related. Through discussion of the major thinkers connected with Sufi trend, such as Al-Ghazali, Ibn Arabi and Suhrawardi presents concepts creation of the world, an angel, his role in the world and relationship with man. It also describes the concept of an active intellect Avicenna and the Ismaili concept of the heavenly Adam. On this basis, an attempt to identify the role of angel in the perfecting of man and angel - of the heavenly counterpart.

W niniejszej pracy przedstawiono obraz i rolę anioła w mistycyzmie muzułmańskim. W historii filozoficzno – mistycznej myśli islamu zajmuje on bowiem bardzo ważne miejsce. Sam Koran nie mówi zbyt wiele o aniołach. Sufi w znaczący i niezwykle barwny sposób rozwijają koncepcję tej niebiańskiej istoty. Na początku zostały omówione kwestie definicyjne wraz z próbą ustalenia pochodzenia idei anioła. Przedstawiony został także obraz anioła jaki występuje w Koranie oraz późniejszej tradycji. Poruszono także problem upadłego anioła Ibilisa. W dalszej części poruszona została kwestia definicji mistycyzmu, zarys historii oraz typologii istotnych z punktu widzenia pracy. Autorka omawia mistycyzm muzłumański w relacji z filozofią i ismailizmem, z którymi jest powiązany. Poprzez omówienie najważniejszych myślicieli związanych z nurtem sufickim, takich jak Al-Ghazali, Ibn Arabi oraz Suhrawardi przedstawiono koncepcje powstania świata, anioła, jego roli w świecie i związku z człowiekiem. Przedstawiono także koncepcję intelektu czynnego Awicenny oraz koncepcję niebiańskiego Adama ismailitów. Na tej podstawie podjęto próbę wskazania roli anioła w doskonaleniu człowieka oraz anioła - niebiańskiego odpowiednika.
