Henri Michaux : the paradoxes of his work

Poniższy artykuł stanowi syntetyczną próbę wydobycia z dzieła Henriego Michaux kilku zasadniczych paradoksów, które w świetle podjętych przez autora wywodów pozwalają usytuować tę twórczość w ramach szeroko rozumianej nowoczesności, której wyznacznikiem w proponowanym tutaj ujęciu jest paradoks ze swoimi wewnętrznymi sprzecznościami.

The present article is a synthetical attempt to extract from Henri Michaux’s work some fundamental paradoxes which, according to the author of the following remarks, offer the possibility of situating this creation within the framework of a modernity that goes back to Charles Baudelaire’s Peintre de la vie moderne and whose founding element is the paradox with its intrinsic contradictions.

Le présent article constitue une tentative synthetique pour dégager de l’œuvre de Henri Michaux quelques paradoxes fondamentaux qui, selon l’auteur des remarques qui suivent, offrent la possibilité de bien situer cette création dans le cadre d’une modernité qui remonte au Peintre de la vie moderne de Charles Baudelaire et dont l’élément fondateur est le paradoxe avec ses contradictions intrinsèques.
