Interventionist Groups of the Prison Service

Praca poświęcona została zagadnieniu Grup Interwencyjnych Służby Więziennej. Są one nazywane jednostkami specjalnymi. Pierwszy rozdział rozpoczęto od zaprezentowania podstawowych definicji, podstaw aksjologicznych oraz rysu historycznego. Kolejno przedstawiono międzynarodowe akty prawne mające wpływ na podstawę ich funkcjonowania, a także poruszono tematykę ochrony praw człowieka. Trzecia część szczegółowo prezentuje polskie akty prawne związane z ich działalnością. Rozdział czwarty przedstawia charakterystykę śląskiej oraz małopolskiej Grupy.

The thesis is devoted to the issue of Interventionist Groups of the Prison Service. They are usually called special formations. The whole thesis was initiated with presenting the basic definitions, axiological issues and history of the organisation. Then, the international acts concerning these Groups were presented. The human rights were also mentioned as an issue which refers to these organisations. The third one is the longest part which includes detailed information about the Groups (mainly from polish legal acts). The last one presents the precise characterization of silesian and lesser-polish Group.
