Literary experience of grief. Marcin Wicha “Things I didn’t throw out”

Praca została poświęcona „Rzeczom, których nie wyrzuciłem” Marcina Wichy. Jej celem jest ukazanie złożoności żałoby, której doświadcza autor, oraz wskazanie na ważną rolę tworzenia literatury w całym procesie. Pierwszy rozdział pracy koncentruje się na roli przedmiotów, w przeżywanej przez autora żałobie. Druga część pracy dotyczy wpływu stymulowanej przez przedmioty pamięci na proces autora. Ostatnia część pracy poświęcona została analizie autora tekstu w kontekście traumatyczności doświadczenia choroby i śmierci, nostalgii oraz (auto)terapeutycznego wymiaru twórczości literackiej.

The paper is devoted to “Things I didn't throw out” by Marcin Wicha. Its purpose is to show the complexity of the bereavement experienced by the author, and to point out the important role of literary creation in the whole process. The first section of the work focuses on the role of items, in the mourning experienced by the author. The second part of the work focuses on the impact of memory stimulated by objects on the author's process. The last part of the work is devoted to analyzing the author of the text in the context of the traumatic nature of the experience of illness and death, nostalgia and the (auto-)therapeutic dimension of literary creation.
