Niniejsza praca stanowi próbę interpretacji i porównania wizerunku Abrahama, ukazanego w dziele aṭ-Ṭabarīego oraz w wybranych tafsīrach. Analiza ma na celu ukazanie podobieństw i różnic w tym, jak autorzy niektórych komentarzy koranicznych oraz jeden z najwybitniejszych historyków przedstawiają Abrahama jako głowę rodziny, ojca monoteizmu i filar wiary.
This paper attempts to interpret and compare the portrayal of Abraham as presented in the work of aṭ-Ṭabarī and selected tafsīrs. The analysis aims to highlight the similarities and differences in how the authors of certain Quranic commentaries and one of the most prominent historians depict Abraham as the head of the family, the father of monotheism, and a pillar of faith.
