The content of journalism in fashion magazines on "Harper's Bazaar Poland" example

Praca jest próbą zbadania i analizy magazynu modowego "Harper's Bazaar Polska". Stara się udowadnić tezę, że czasopismo tego typu obfite jest nie tylko w materiały z wybiegów, sesji zdjęciowych i poradnictwo, ale także w teksty, którym można przypisać charakterystyczne cechy gatunków dziennikarskich. Praca przezentuje typologię oraz historię magazynów modowych, a także bada zawartość wszystkich wydanych w Polsce numerów, pod względem zawartych w nich teści dziennikarskich oraz poruszanej przez nie tematyki.

This Thesis is an attempt to explore and analyze the fashion magazine called "Harper's Bazaar Poland" and trying to prove that this kind of magazine is not only rich in materials from the 'catwalks', photo shoots and guidance, but also with the texts, which can be assigned to the characteristic of journalistic genres. This paper presents a typology and history of fashion magazines, as well as examining the contents of all the magazine numbers published in Poland in respect of their content contained in journalism and discussed subjects.
