AbstraktMetoda 5S – to narzędzie ciągłego doskonalenia, którego celem jest stworzenie dobrze zorganizowanego i uporządkowanego miejsca pracy. Wdrożenie 5S pozwala poprawić jakość produkowanych wyrobów i świadczonych usług, podnieść wydajność pracy, zwiększyć stabilność procesów oraz obniżyć koszty działania firmy. Celem pracy jest obserwacja poszczególnych etapów wdrożenia 5S w przemyśle poligraficznym. W części teoretycznej zostały opisane i pogrupowane współczesne metody organizacji i zarządzania. W dalszej części przedstawiono przebieg wdrożenia 5S w firmie introligatorskiej. Badania empiryczne oparto o obserwację uczestniczącą jawną etapów wdrażania 5S ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem pozytywnych i negatywnych stron.Słowa kluczowe: 5S – Jakość – TQM

Implementation of 5S can improve the quality of manufactured products and services, raise productivity, enhance the stability of the processes and reduce operation cost of the company. The aim of the study is the observation of various stages of the implementation of 5S in the printing industry. In the theoretical part there have been described and grouped the modern methods of organization and management. In the next section there have been presented the process of implementing 5S at bookbinding company.The empirical research is based on participant observation and undisguised observation of the stages of implementation of the 5S, with particular reference to its positive and negative sides.Key words: 5S, Quality, TQM
