Development problems of the Czorsztyn commune in the light of planning documents

W pracy przedstawiono główne problemy rozwoju wiejskiej gminy Czorsztyn w świetle zapisów dokumentów planistycznych. Do realizacji celu pracy wykorzystane zostały zapisy strategii rozwoju gminy, miejscowego planu zagospodarowania przestrzennego oraz miejscowego studium uwarunkowań i kierunków zagospodarowania przestrzennego. Posłużono się także danymi z Banku Danych Lokalnych Głównego Urzędu Statystycznego. Do problemów rozwoju należą: niska aktywność zawodowa mieszkańców, starzenie się społeczeństwa, jednak położenie gminy w atrakcyjnym otoczeniu przyrodniczym i opieranie gospodarki głównie na ruchu turystycznym objawia się wysokim potencjałem rozwojowym gminy Czorsztyn.

In my publication I have presented the main problems of the rural development of the Czorsztyn commune in the light of the planning documents. The main goals and development problems were described on the basis of the commune development strategy, the local spatial development plan and the local study of conditions and directions of spatial development. The data of the Local Data Bank of the Central Statistical Office was also used. Development problems include: low proffesional activity of the inhabitants, aging of the society, however, the location of the commune in an attractive natural environment and basing the economy mainly on tourist traffic is manifested in the high development potential of the Czorsztyn commune.
