German migrations to Argentina until 1955

Celem pracy było opisanie zjawiska migracji Niemców do Argentyny oraz pokazanie jej wpływu na rozwój państwa. Niemcy już w XVI wieku przybywali na tereny Argentyny. Ramy czasowe pracy obejmują okres od podróży odkrywców europejskich na tereny Ameryki Łacińskiej do czasów panowania Juana Domingo Perona. Po tym okresie zakończyły się masowe migracje Niemców do Argentyny oraz zmniejszyło się ich znaczenie dla rozwoju kraju. Imigranci niemieccy odznaczyli się w historii państwa argentyńskiego mając znaczący wpływ na rozwój społeczeństwa, gospodarki i polityki. Wskazano wybitne jednostki, które zapisały się w historii Argentyny dzięki zasługom w wielu dziedzinach życia społecznego, szczególnie jeśli chodzi o badania naukowe, odkrywanie nieznanych terenów kraju, rozwój medycyny i lotnictwa. Argentyna, jako kraj typowo imigracyjny, przyciągała do siebie nowych osadników i traktowała ich jako szansę na szybki rozwój i przemianę. W pracy opisany został okres przybywania pierwszych osadników niemieckich (od XVI wieku), następnie XIX-wiecznych migracji, czasy I wojny światowej, migracje za czasów Republiki Weimarskiej, Trzeciej Rzeszy i II wojny światowej. Zwrócono także uwagę na problem migracji niemieckich zbrodniarzy wojennych do Argentyny podczas panowania Juana Domingo Perona. W pracy opisano również rynek niemieckich gazet ukazujących się w Argentynie i konflikt ideologiczny pomiędzy nimi. Praca oparta jest w dużym stopniu na materiałach wydanych w języku niemieckim.

The aim of this thesis was to describe the phenomenon of German’s people migration to Argentina and to show it’s influence at the state development. Germans already in 16th century arrived to Argentina. The time frame covers the period from travels of European explorers to areas of Latin America to the reign of Juan Domingo Perón. After this period german mass migrations to Argentina and their importance for the development of the country have finished. German immigrants had distinguished themselves in the history of the Argentine state with a significant impact on the development of society, economy and politics. Also, individual persons wrote down in the history of Argentina, through the merits in many areas of social life, especially when it comes to research, explore unknown areas of the country, the development of medicine and aviation. Argentina as a typical country of immigration pulled together the new settlers and treated them as an opportunity for rapid growth and change. This thesis describes the period of the first arrivals of German settlers (from the sixteenth century), followed by the nineteenth-century migration, the times of the First World War, migration at the time of the Weimar Republic, the Third Reich and the Second World War. The problem of migration of German war criminals to Argentina during the reign of Juan Domingo Perón is also highlighted. In this thesis a market of german’s newspapers published in Argentina and ideological conflict between them is described as well. Work is based to a great extent on the materials published in the German language.
