Pracę otwiera wstęp ,w którym zawarto cel pracy oraz zastosowane metody badawcze. W pierwszym rozdziale opisano położenie oraz budowę geologiczną, rzeźbę terenu, warunki klimatyczne, stosunki wodne, a także pokrywę glebową południowej części Wyżyny Krakowsko – Częstochowskiej. W rozdziale drugim opisano sytuację społeczno – ekonomiczną, odnosząc się zarówno do uwarunkowań historycznych jak i obecnych badanego obszaru. W kolejnym rozdziale scharakteryzowano walory turystyczne. W pierwszej części tego rozdziału opisano walory przyrodniczo – krajobrazowe, w którym przedstawiono szatę roślinną, świat zwierzęcy oraz specyficzne elementy ukształtowania powierzchni. W tej części opisano także parki zabytkowe, muzea przyrodnicze oraz Ojcowski Park Narodowy, a także parki krajobrazowe znajdujące się na badanym obszarze. W drugiej części tego rozdziału dokonano analizy walorów antropogenicznych, w których opisano: znaleziska archeologiczne; zabytki architektury i budownictwa; muzea i galerie sztuki; muzea specjalistyczne; obiekty historyczno – wojskowe; zabytki działalności gospodarczej; współczesne imprezy kulturalne; miejsca pielgrzymkowe. W trzeciej części opisano walory specjalistyczne: jeździeckie i speleologiczne. W ostatniej części tego rozdziału opisano główne formy turystyki badanego obszaru takie jak: piesza, wspinaczkowa, paralotniarska.W rozdziale czwartym przedstawiono historię powstania współczesnego roweru, a także scharakteryzowano główne typy rowerów. W kolejnym rozdziale opisano rozwój turystyki rowerowej na obszarze Wyżyny Krakowsko – Częstochowskiej oraz przedstawiono dobór odpowiedniego sprzętu i ekwipunku dla tej formy turystyki. W rozdziale szóstym skupiono się na rozmieszczeniu przestrzennym szlaków rowerowych w poszczególnych gminach badanego obszaru. Analizę graficzną rozmieszczenia szlaków uzupełnia jej opis. Następnie dokonano analizy bazy noclegowej, gastronomicznej oraz infrastruktury transportowej. W rozdziale siódmym dokonano analizy przeprowadzonych badań ankietowych. Po analizie wyników przedstawiono wnioski. W rozdziale ósmym zaprezentowano perspektywy rozwoju turystyki rowerowej oraz infrastruktury rowerowej. W zakończeniu wyrażono opinie o obecnej infrastrukturze rowerowej oraz aspekt społeczny turystyki rowerowej.

In the first chapter of this Diploma Paper the author describes location, geological, topographical features, climatic conditions and water balance of the southern part of The Krakow – Czestochowa Upland. What is more, the soil cover of this region is described. In the secondo chapter the author presents the social and economic state of the studiem area according to both historical background and the present conditioning.In the next chapter, tourist values are characterized. This chapter is divided into four particular parts. Firstly, the author show natural and landscape values such as vegetation, animal life and specific elements of the landform. In addition, some historic parks, natural wildlife parks, Ojcow National Park and last but not least landscapes parks of this region are descibed. Secondly, the author analyses the anthropogenic values consisting of archeological findings, architecture and construction monuments. Furthermore, museums, art. galleries, specialized museums, historical and military objects, monuments of land – based activity, modern cultural eventsand finalny popular places for pilgrimages are described. In the third part of the chapter the authorconsiders specific values for instance equestrian and speleological values. Lastly, the writer describes the main forms of touring in the presented area such as pedestrian, climbing and paragliding tourism.In the four chapter the author describes the origin of modern bicycles. Moreover, major types of bicycles are characterized in this part of the Diploma Paper. Then. The writer tries to describe the development of bicykle touring on The Krakow – Czestochowa Upland and show how to choose the most appropriate equipment fot this kind of activity. In the next chapter, the author concentrates on the spatial arrangement of the cycle paths in particular municipalities of the examined region. Graphic analysis of cycle paths location is fulfilled with the detailed, verbal description. Then, the writer of this Master Thesis analyses the accommodation, catering industry and transport infrastructure.In the seventh chapter, the conducted research is analysed and the conclusions are presented. In the last chapter the author tries to show possibilities of bicycle touring and cycle infrastructure improvement. What is more, the author presents his opinion on bicycle touring and its social aspect.
