The concept of care from psychological, philosophical and pedagogical perspectives - a review of selected positions

Poniższa praca pt. Pojęcie troski z perspektywy psychologicznej, filozoficznej i pedagogicznej - przegląd wybranych stanowisk skupia się na zdefiniowaniu troski z perspektywy psychologicznej, filozoficznej i pedagogicznej. Problemem badawczym pracy jest pytanie: Jak pojęcie troski jest definiowane w wyżej wymienionych dyscyplinach. Praca obrazuje przegląd literatury badaczy polskojęzycznych i anglojęzycznych, którzy w swoich pracach przedstawiają swoje stanowisko względem pojęcia troski. Tekst ma charakter analizy stanowisk naukowców i naukowczyń, którzy rozważają dylemat pojęcia troski oraz etyki troski poprzez zestawienie i porównanie. Do napisania pracy wykorzystano literaturę fachową dotyczącą psychologii, filozofii i pedagogiki. Na podstawie analizy dzieł wybranych przedstawicieli wyodrębniłam różnice i podobieństwa, które łączą lub dzielą wyżej wymienione dyscypliny naukowe. W psychologii i filozofii pojęcie troski jest ponownie rozważanym dylematem, natomiast w pedagogice troska jest synonimem stosowanym zamiennie z opieką. Jednak pedagogika łączy wyżej wymienione dyscypliny, dzięki temu korzysta z ich pojęcia troski. Nie zmienia to faktu, że powinna w przyszłości wypracować własne pojęcie troski, jednak do momentu aż tego nie zrobi, może czerpać z innych dyscyplin.

The following work entitled The concept of care from psychological, philosophical and pedagogical perspectives - a review of selected positions focuses on defining care from psychological, philosophical and pedagogical perspectives. The research problem of the paper is the question: How the notion of care is defined in the above mentioned disciplines. The paper presents a literature review of Polish and English-speaking researchers, who in their works present their position on the concept of care. The text has the character of an analysis of the positions of scientists who consider the dilemma of the concept of care and the ethics of care by comparing and contrasting them. The professional literature on psychology, philosophy and pedagogy was used to write the work. Based on the analysis of the works of selected representatives, I have identified the differences and similarities that unite or divide the above-mentioned scientific disciplines. In psychology and philosophy the concept of care is a reconsidered dilemma, while in pedagogy care is a synonym used interchangeably with care. However, pedagogy combines the above-mentioned disciplines and thus benefits from their concept of care. This does not change the fact that it should develop its own concept of care in the future, but until it does so, it can draw on other disciplines.
