Poles from both sides of two-way mirror. Autostereotype of Poles and their heterostereotype in Italy.

In my thesis I was concentrated on stereotypes subject. In the first chapter I presented a definition of this concept from the perspective of different researchers, and the problem of their functioning in society and intergroup relations.The second chapter talks about the definition of autostereotype, the traditional and anticipatory separation of autostereotype. In addition, there are presented researches, in which are shown the characteristics which Poles ascribe to themselves.In the third and last chapter, I undertook the theme of Poles in Italy. The images of Poles in Italy are not based on some kind of research on Italian society, but they are based on the opinions of experts selected by the author of the book, on which basis this section could arise. The opinions expressed above all, the image of Poles- immigrants over the last 30-40 years.

W swojej pracy zajęłam się tematyką stereotypów. W pierwszym rozdziale przedstawiłam definicję tego pojęcia z perspektywy różnych badaczy oraz problematykę ich funkcjonowania w społeczeństwie i w relacjach międzygrupowych.Drugi rozdział mówi o definicji autostereotypu, jego rozdzieleniu na autostereotyp tradycyjny i antycypacyjny. Ponadto zaprezentowałam badania, w których wykazane są cechy, jakie Polacy przypisują samym sobie.W trzecim i ostatnim rozdziale, podjęłam tematykę Polaków we Włoszech. Wypunktowane w nim obrazy Polaków we Włoszech nie są oparte o pewnego rodzaju badania na społeczeństwie włoskim, ale za to na opiniach ekspertów wybranych przez autorkę książki, na postawie, której ów rozdział mógł powstać. Te opinie wyrażają przede wszystkim obraz Polaków- imigrantów na przestrzeni ostatnich 30-40 lat.
