Similarities in the works of the Skamanderites and the Fauvists

Praca ma na celu wskazanie podobieństw między skamandrytami a fowistami oraz podjęcie dialogu na temat oddziaływania na siebie poszczególnych aspektów ich dorobku artystycznego, a także realizowanych postulatów. Zaprezentowane w pracy elementy twórczości fowistów i poetów Skamandra składają się na wspólne dla obu grup zagadnienia: dionizyjskość, witalizm, zmysłowość, muzyczność, indywidualizm, liberalizm poglądów na sztukę i postać artysty. Są jednocześnie argumentami popierającymi subiektywną tezę na temat istnienia daleko idących zależności między skamandrytami i fowistami. Co warte podkreślenia, opracowane miejsca wspólne twórczości członków obu grup nie są jedynymi, lecz zdają się być wystarczające, aby dostrzec podobieństwa między na pozór dalekimi od siebie awangardzistami – fowistami a antyawangardzistami – poetami grupy Skamander.

The purpose of this work is to point out the similarities between the Skamander poets and the Fauvists and to engage in a dialogue about the influence of particular aspects of their artistic output on each other, as well as the postulates they pursued. The elements of work of the Fauvists and Skamandrites presented in this work comprise issues common to both groups: dionysianism, vitalism, sensuality, musicality, individualism, liberalism of views on art and the figure of the artist. At the same time, they are arguments supporting the subjective thesis on the existence of far-reaching relations between the Skamandrites and the Fauvists. What is worth emphasizing, the elaborated common places of the works of the members of both groups are not the only ones, but they seem to be sufficient to see the similarities between the seemingly distant avant-gardists – the Fauvists and the anti-avant-gardists – the poets of the Skamander group.
