The influence of electronic transport exchanges on the operation of a transport company

Transport odgrywa w gospodarce światowej niezwykle ważną rolę. Jego podstawowe znaczenie sprowadza się do funkcji usługowej, jaką ta gałąź gospodarki pełni wobec innych jej działów. Cała branża TSL oddziałuje na inne przedsiębiorstwa, działające w różnych gałęziach gospodarki. Stąd podkreśla się, że bardzo ważnym jest, aby sektor ten działał prawidłowo i skutecznie się rozwijał. Duży wpływ na przedsiębiorstwa transportowe mają elektroniczne giełdy transportowe, które obecnie efektywnie działają na terenie całej Europy. Dzięki nim przedsiębiorstwa z branży TSL mogą przede wszystkim skutecznie prowadzić swoją działalność, przy jednoczesnym obniżeniu kosztów i zminimalizowaniu czasu, jaki był potrzebny na znalezienie współpracowników w tradycyjnej formie organizacji spedycji. W ramach niniejszej pracy omówiono sektor transportu w Polsce, z uwzględnieniem jego infrastruktury i środków transportu występujących w kraju. Przedstawiono także proces zarządzania przedsiębiorstwem z branży TSL oraz scharakteryzowano działalność e-giełd. W ostatnim rozdziale pracy, który jest kluczowy dla podjętego tematu, omówiono w oparciu o literaturę przedmiotu wpływ elektronicznych giełd transportowych na działalność przedsiębiorstw TSL.

The transport plays an extremely important role in the global economy. Its basic meaning boils down to the service function that this branch of the economy has to its other departments. The entire TSL industry affects other enterprises operating in various branches of the economy. Therefore, it is emphasized that it is very important that the sector operates properly and develops effectively. Electronic transport exchanges, which currently operate effectively throughout Europe, have a big impact on transport companies. Thanks to them, enterprises from the TSL industry can primarily conduct their operations efficiently, while reducing costs and minimizing the time that was needed to find co-workers. This paper discusses the transport sector in Poland, including its infrastructure and means of transport existing in the Poland. The company management process from the TSL sector was also presented and the activities of e-exchanges were characterized. In the last chapter of the paper, which is crucial for the topic under discussion, the influence of electronic transport exchanges on the activities of TSL enterprises was discussed based on the subject literature.
