Value system and educational aspirations of high school students

Przedmiotem badań niniejszej pracy jest system wartości i aspiracji edukacyjnych młodych ludzi, uczęszczających do różnych typów szkół i uczących się w klasach o różnych profilach kształcenia. Głównym problem badawczym jest pytanie, jakie wartości i aspiracje edukacyjne wyznają nastolatki, pobierający naukę w szkołach o różnym profilu kształcenia? Ponadto zostały sformułowane cztery problemy szczegółowe:- Jakie są systemy wartości i aspiracje edukacyjne nastolatków uczących się w liceach, technikach i szkołach zawodowych? - Czy istnieją różnice w systemie wartości i aspiracjach edukacyjnych między nastolatkami różnych profilów kształcenia?- Jaki według opinii badanych nauczycieli i uczniów jest wpływ szkoły na system wartości i aspiracje edukacyjne nastolatków?- Na czym według badanych rodziców polega rola rodziny w kształtowaniu systemu wartości i aspiracji edukacyjnych i jakie działania ukierunkowane na system wartości i aspiracje edukacyjne podejmują badani rodzice? Badaniem zostali objęci uczniowie krakowskich szkół – liceum, technikum oraz szkoły zawodowej, a także nauczyciele i rodzice. Posłużono się w nim metodą sondażu diagnostycznego oraz techniką wywiadu standaryzowanego, czyli ankiety w postaci kwestionariuszy. Rozważania skupiono wokół cenionych wartości, motywów wyboru szkoły przez uczniów, ich opinii na temat wpływu szkoły oraz rodziny na system wartości i aspiracji. Ukazane zostały również działania nauczycieli i rodziców na kształtowanie się systemu wartości i aspiracji młodych ludzi.

The subject of the study of this work is the phenomenon of the system of values and educational aspirations of young people. Its aim is to learn about the differences in educational aspirations and the value system of teenagers learning on different profiles of education. The main research problem that has been formulated is: “What are the values and educational aspirations of adolescents who study in schools of different educational profiles?” In addition, four specific problems were formulated:-What are the system of values and educational aspirations of high school, technical and vocational school teenagers?”-Are there differences in the system of values and educational aspirations between teenagers learning on different educational profiles?-What, according to the opinion of the surveyed teachers and students, is the impact of the school on the system of values and educational aspirations of teenagers?-What is the role of the family in the shaping of the system of educational values and aspirations on what the parents surveyed, and what actions are targeted at the system of values and educational aspirations undertaken by the surveyed parents?The students from Krakow schools - high school, technical school and vocational school, as well as their teachers and parents - were included in the research process. The method used was the method of the diagnostic survey and questionnaires were prepared. The reflections were focused around the valued values, the motives of school selection by students, their opinions on the impact of the school and the family on the system of values and aspirations. The activities of teachers and parents on shaping the system of values and aspirations of young people are also shown.
