Przedmiotem pracy jest przedstawienie kompetencji Sejmu Śląskiego przyznanych Statutem Organicznym Województwa Śląskiego. Praca składa się z 7 części, w których omówiono genezę Autonomii Śląska, charakterystykę Statutu Organicznego i Sejmu Śląskiego oraz jego kompetencje, z podziałem na kompetencje czynne i bierne. Praca zawiera przykłady praktycznego zastosowania przez Sejm przyznanych uprawnień oraz proces unifikacji ustawodawstwa śląskiego z ogólnokrajowym.
The subject of the thesis is to present competences of the Silesian Parliament which were conferred by Organic Statute of the Silesian Province. The thesis consists of 7 parts , which discusses the genesis of the Autonomy of Silesia, characteristics of Organic Statute and the Silesian Parliament and its powers, which are divided into active and passive powers. The paper includes examples of practical application of the powers conferred to the Parliament and the process of unification of the silesian legislation with national legislation.
