Relationship satisfaction and sexual satisfaction - the role of religiosity and character of the relationship

Celem niniejszej pracy magisterskiej było zbadanie potencjalnych związków między poziomem centralności religijności a satysfakcją ze związku oraz satysfakcją seksualną w związkach małżeńskich, narzeczeńskich i kohabitacyjnych. Dodatkowo, autorka miała zamiar sprawdzić, czy związek pomiędzy satysfakcją ze związku a satysfakcją seksualną zależy od formy związku oraz typu religijności. W tym celu przebadano 318 osób w wieku od 18 do 45 lat. Do pomiaru badanych zmiennych wykorzystano polskie tłumaczenie Skali Oceny Relacji, Kwestionariusz Satysfakcji Seksualnej Agnieszki Nomejko raz Grażyny Dolińskiej-Zygmunt oraz polską adaptację Skali Centralności Religijności autorstwa Stefana Hubera. Analiza wyników wykazała pozytywną korelacje między satysfakcją ze związku a satysfakcją seksualną zarówno w grupie ogólnej, jak i w grupach o różnych formach związku i typach religijności. Nie odnotowano istotnych statystycznie powiązań pomiędzy satysfakcją ze związku a religijnością oraz satysfakcją seksualną a religijnością w żadnej z form związków.

The purpose of this master's thesis was to examine potential relationships between the level of centrality of religiosity and relationship satisfaction and sexual satisfaction in marital, fiancé and cohabitation relationships. In addition, the author intended to test whether the relationship between relationship satisfaction and sexual satisfaction depends on the form of the relationship and the type of religiosity. For this purpose, 318 people between the ages of 18 and 45 were surveyed. The Polish translation of the Relationship Evaluation Scale, the Sexual Satisfaction Questionnaire by Agnieszka Nomejko once by Grażyna Dolińska-Zygmunt and the Polish adaptation of the Religiosity Centrality Scale by Stefan Huber were used to measure the variables studied. Analysis of the results showed a positive correlation between relationship satisfaction and sexual satisfaction both in the general group and in groups with different forms of relationship and types of religiosity. There were no statistically significant correlations between relationship satisfaction and religiosity or sexual satisfaction and religiosity in any of the relationship forms.
