Pragmatyczna analiza humoru w filmie "Debiutanci"

Tematem niniejszej pracy magisterskiej jest analiza języka humoru, w filmie Mike’a Mills’a Debiutanci. Praca rozpoczyna się od omówienia pochodzenia humoru oraz jego perspektyw psychologicznych i teorii. Przedstawione są również różne modele humoru, w tym model rezyliencji, model afiliacyjny i samowzmacniający oraz model agresywny i autodestrukcyjny. Te elementy pozwalają na głębsze zrozumienie mechanizmów tworzenia komicznych sytuacji w dialogach filmowych oraz sposobu, w jaki bohaterowie nawiązują relacje i łagodzą trudy codziennego życia.W pracy analizowane są również funkcje humoru oraz dyskursy humorystyczne, w tym ich adaptacje i typy humoru konwersacyjnego. Szczegółowo omówiona została charakterystyka filmu, jego kontekst, główni bohaterowie oraz cechy charakterystyczne postaci, które przyczyniają się do powstawania humoru w filmie. Przedstawione są także środki językowe i stylistyczne używane do tworzenia humoru, takie jak ironia, sarkazm, eufemizm, satyra, parodia i hiperbola. Zastosowanie tych środków stylistycznych w dialogach filmowych wzbogaca charakterystykę postaci, ujawniając ich cechy indywidualne, oraz sprawia, że dialogi są dynamiczne i zabawne.W rozdziale dotyczącym pragmatyki omawiane są zagadnienia takie jak kontekst i jego rodzaje, implikatura (konwersacyjna i konwencjonalna), maksymy konwersacyjne Grice’a oraz presupozycja. Ostatni rozdział zawiera szczegółową analizę jakościową humorystycznych dialogów w filmie Debiutanci obejmującą różne sceny i interakcje między postaciami.

The subject of this thesis is an analysis of the language of humour, in Mike Mills' film Beginners. It begins with a discussion of the origins of humour and its psychological perspectives and theories. Various models of humour are also presented, including the resilience model, the affiliative and self-enhancing model, and the aggressive and self- destructive model. These elements provide a deeper understanding of the mechanisms of creating comic situations in film dialogue and how characters deal with relationships and mitigate the difficulties of everyday life.The paper also examines the functions of humour and the discourses of humour, including their adaptations and types. The characteristics of the film Beginners, its context, the main characters that contribute to the humour in the film are discussed in detail. The linguistic and stylistic devices used to create humour such as irony, sarcasm, euphemism, satire, parody and hyperbole are also presented. The use of these stylistic devices in film dialogues enriches the characters, revealing their individual traits, and makes the dialogues dynamic and entertaining.Selected pragmatics issues are also briefly presented as necessary for the analysis of the dialogues in the film Beginners, such as context and its types, implicature (conversational and conventional), Grice's conversational maxims and presupposition. The final chapter provides a detailed qualitative analysis of the humorous dialogues in Beginners, covering various scenes and character interactions.
