Celem niniejszej pracy jest interpretacja opowiadań brazylijskiego autora Caio Fernando Abreu „Linda, uma história horrível” oraz „Pequeno Monstro” zawartych w zbiorze "Os Dragões não conhecem o paraíso", aby zanalizować sytuację osób queer po upadku brazylijskiej dyktatury wojskowej. Pierwsza część pracy skupia się na kontekście literackim i historycznym, których znajomość pozwala zrozumieć jak reżim wpłynął na rzeczywistość autora i jego twórczość literacką. Druga część przedstawia sytuację osób queer zaprezentowaną przez pisarza i jego próby przełamania stereotypów. Analiza ujawnia, że forma omawianych opowiadań i ich treść są ze sobą ściśle powiązane w celu podkreślenia problemów osób queer, takich jak niesprawiedliwości społeczne i uprzedzenia.

The aim of this paper is to interpret the short stories of Brazilian author Caio Fernando Abreu „ Linda, uma história horrível” and „Pequeno Monstro” included in the collection "Os Dragões não conhecem o paraíso", analyzing the situation of queer people after the fall of the Military Dictatorship in Brazil. The first chapter focuses on literary and historical context, the knowledge of which allows us to understand how the regime influenced the reality of the author and his literary output. The second part of the work presents the situation of queer people as presented by the writer and his attempts to break stereotypes. The analysis reveals that the form of the stories and the content are closely intertwined to highlight problems of queer people, such as social injustices and prejudices.

O objetivo do presente trabalho é fazer uma análise dos contos do autor Caio Fernando Abreu „Linda, uma história horrível” e „Pequeno Monstro” incluídos na coletânea "Os Dragões não conhecem o paraíso", aproximando a situação das pessoas queer após o colapso da ditadura miliar brasileira. A primeira parte trata do contexto literário e histórico para facilitar a perceção dos contos. A tentativa de esboçar o contexto possibilita entender como o regime afetou a realidade e a escrita do autor. A segunda parte apresenta como o autor conseguiu mostrar a realidade das pessoas queer e combater alguns estereótipos. A análise revela que a forma dos contos em questão e o conteúdo estão profundamente ligados para dar importância aos problemas das pessoas queer, como injustiças sociais e preconceitos.
