Wartości są nierozłącznym składnikiem dorosłości. Każdy młody człowiek w toku socjalizacji internalizuje pewne normy lub też je odrzuca. Brak akceptacji otaczającej rzeczywistości, sprzeciw wobec panującym regułom i zasadom powoduje tworzenie się subkultur, gdzie młodzież próbuje zmienić własną codzienność. Stanowi to pewien typ przystosowania. Za cel tej pracy uznano przedstawienie rozwiązań dotyczących opisu diagnostycznego preferowanych wartości. Badaniami objęto grupę należącą do subkultury punk, metal i skinhead. Pracę wzbogacono o wiedzę na temat skali poczucia alienacji ankietowanych. Wyniki badań pozwoliły stwierdzić, iż adolescenci przejawiają niskie poczucie alienacji, a ich potrzeba miłości i przynależności jest zaspokojona. Młody wiek jest szczególnym okresem buntu, stanowi on niejednokrotnie wyzwanie dla panującego systemu wartości. Młodzież w swych poczynaniach pragnie się wyróżniać, często bezkrytycznie odnosząc się do swojego negatywnego zachowania. Oczekuje wolności i autonomii. Przynależąc do danej subkultury przyswajają normy, które w niej panują, kreują w najlepiej możliwy sposób własną przyszłość, stąd pragnienie decydowania o sobie samym, a niechęć do narzucanej opinii z zewnątrz.

Values are an inseparable component of adulthood. Every young person in the course of socialization internalizes certain standards or reject. Lack of acceptance of the surrounding reality, opposition to the prevailing rules and principles causes the formation of subcultures, where young people trying to change their own everyday life. This is a type of adaptation. The aim of this work was to present solutions to the diagnostic description of preferred values. The study group belonging to the subculture of punk, metal and skinhead. The work was enriched with knowledge about the extent of alienation of the respondents. The results allowed to state that adolescence exhibit low self-alienation, and their need for love and belonging is satisfied.Young age is a specific period of rebellion, it is a challenge to the current system of values. Youth in their dealings wants to stand out, often uncritically referring to his negative behavior. Expected to freedom and autonomy. Belonging to a particular subculture acquire the standards that are in it. Create the best possible way their own future, they want to decide themselves, represent an unwillingness to other opinions from outside.
