Tematem pracy jest twórczość Mario Vargasa Llosy. Formą przedstawienia jest przegląd bibliograficzno-adnotowany, zawierający osiem powieści zrecenzowanych w polskich czasopismach w latach 1998-2010. Praca składa się z trzech części: opracowania biograficznego, kalendarium twórczości Vargasa Llosy oraz przeglądu bibliograficzno-adnotowanego. W adnotacjach uwzględniono temat, bohaterów, oraz tło polityczne i społeczne omawianych powieści. Celem pracy jest zaproponowanie zastosowania podobnej formy w promocji nowości bibliotecznych.
The subject of a thesis is activity of Mario Vargas Llosa. Eight novels, reviewed in Polish press in years 1998-2010 are presentated in form of annotated bibliographic review. The thesis consists of three parts: biographical study, calendar of Vargas Llosa's works and annotated bibliographic review. In annotations are included: subject, characters and political and social background of the novels. A similar form is proposed to apply in the new books promoting at libraries.
