Franchise as a modern example of doing business on the example of the BODYPAK network

Celem niniejszej pracy jest analiza opłacalności prowadzenia działalności gospodarczej w modelu franczyzowym, na detalicznym rynku odżywek i suplementów diety. Przykładem franczyzobiorcy jest jeden z systemów franczyzy, sieć BODYPAK. W szczególności analizie poddane zostały wady i zalety systemu zarówno dla dawcy, jak i biorcy franczyzy. Podstawowe pytanie, jakie przyświeca podjętym tu rozważaniom, odnosi się do kwestii rentowności, oraz oszacowaniu skali ryzyka przy podejmowaniu tego systemu: czy jest to opłacalne? Czy otrzymam dostateczne wsparcie? Jak wygląda rynek, i czy dawca systemu pomoże mi zminimalizować ryzyko? Analizując te zagadnienia, autor opisał również szeroko model franczyzowy jako popularną obecnie formę współpracy gospodarczej, zarówno na rynku krajowym, jak i zagranicznym. W podsumowaniu, autor przedstawił zestawienie kosztów inwestycji, a także przeanalizował sektor metodą Portera (5 sił rynkowych) oraz metodą analizy SWOT. W swojej pracy autor posłużył się literaturą tematyczną na temat franczyzy, oraz źródłami dostępnymi w internecie.

The purpose of this work is to analyze the profitability of running a business in the franchise model, on the retail market of nutrients and dietary supplements. An example of a franchisee is one of the franchise systems, the BODYPAK network. In particular, the advantages and disadvantages of the system were analyzed for both the donor and the recipient of the franchise. The basic question that is guided by the considerations discussed here refers to the issue of profitability, and to estimate the scale of risk when making this system: is it profitable? Will I get enough support? What does the market look like and will the system donor help me minimize the risk? Analyzing these issues, the author also described the franchise model widely as a currently popular form of economic cooperation, both on the domestic and foreign market. In summary, the author presented a summary of investment costs, and also analyzed the sector using the Porter method (5 market forces) and the SWOT analysis method. In her work, the author used thematic literature on the franchise and sources available on the internet.
