Poprzez ich przekraczanie człowiek oddziałuje nie tylko na ciało i tożsamość, ale też na całe społeczeństwo. Bohaterowie prozy Olgi Tokarczuk dokonują różnorodnych transgresji. Przekraczają granice ciała i tożsamości, a także bariery przestrzenne oraz symboliczne. Wnioski niniejszej pracy wydają się potwierdzać stanowisko, że homo transgressivus jest jednostką nieustannie mobilizowaną do ruchu poprzez pragnienie poszerzania własnych horyzontów poznawczych i dążenie do zniesienia krępujących go ograniczeń. The transgressive activity of the man expresses complexity of mechanics governing the actions of individual towards various bans and barriers. By its crossing, the man has an influence on the body, identity and the whole society. The characters of Olga Tokarczuk’s prose make different transgressions. They made many crossings connected with land, body, identity and symbolic barriers. The conclusion of this work seems to confirm the statement, homo transgressivus is the individual which continuously mobilizes itself to movement by the desire for broaden its cognitive horizons and by the aspiration to lift restrictions. Olga Tokarczuk as the author interested in human existence shows various problems connected with many spheres of human life joined with the issue of transgression.
