Credit risk in banks’ operations

Praca przedstawia jaki wpływ na gospodarkę banków ma udzielanie kredytów. Początkowo opisane zostały takie kwestie jak definicja ryzyka bankowego, czynniki, które je wywołują, a także skutki i sposób kontrolowania ryzyka kredytowego. Kolejne dwa rozdziały przedstawiają zagadnienia związane z pojęciem kredytu i działalnością kredytową banku, a także z procedurami kredytowymi. Ostatni rozdział to studium przypadku przeprowadzone na podstawie danych finansowych firmy Sigma Sp. z o.o. Wszystkie informacje potrzebne do napisania tej pracy pochodzą z literatury fachowej, a także ze stron internetowych.

The thesis depicts how the granting of credits affects on bank’s economy. Initially, there were described issues like banking risk definition, factors that might cause them and also the effects and the way of credit risk control. The following two chapters show what the credit is in general as well as all the rules when the credit is granting. In the last chapter I’ve conducted a case study on the basis of financial data of Sigma Sp. z o.o. company. All the information necessary to complete this thesis was acquired from the specialist literature as well as from the web sites.
